To provide and promote excellence in dental care and health.

Unhappy with your smile? Do you cover your mouth when you smile? Are you embarrassed about discoloured, chipped, crooked or misshapen teeth? Do you have gaps where you wish you didn’t?

Modern dentistry can correct all of these problems to give you the smile you have always dreamed of.

Restoring Teeth

As much of our work is concerned with restoring teeth, we place an emphasis on not merely ‘filling’ teeth but placing highly aesthetic, hand sculpted, precision placed restorations resulting in invisible, beautiful dentistry.

Dental materials have continually evolved and as part of our practicing philosophy we have ensured that we have remained at the forefront of the field through continual training over 20 years to keep abreast of the latest developments. At Kew Dental Care we use tooth coloured resins in a multiple layered approach bonded to the remaining tooth structure to seal and restore the original contours of the tooth. These materials require highly skilled placement and we take time to ensure that all stages are followed carefully and with absolute precision to give a beautiful and long lasting restoration of your tooth.

We are also able to provide ceramic restorations using the Cerec System in a single visit.

Tooth whitening

These completely non-invasive treatments achieve stunning results using the very latest whitening gels and special arch lights in a short space of time. Teeth that have become stained, discoloured or aged can be rejuvenated to shades often whiter than they were originally, giving a brighter, younger-looking smile which patients are confident and happy to show off.

Bonding

Materials science now allows us to artistically enhance your smile and correct imperfections using composite ‘white filling’ materials. These materials are extremely lifelike, long-lasting and bond strongly to your teeth. The dentist adds the materials to the teeth in a layered sequence (much like the layers of a natural tooth) they are then artistically sculpted and polished to a high lustre to blend with the natural tooth. These composite resins are available in a huge range of shades, have various light transmitting properties and are able to be highly polished so that by combining them in a layered approach we can create natural looking, enhanced teeth.

Crowns

On occasion we have to completely rebuild teeth if they have been badly damaged, or we may need to replace unsightly old crowns. The latest all-ceramic, aesthetic porcelain crowns, hand-crafted by a laboratory technician to the dentists’ prescription, have eliminated the black line at the gum margin seen with the older porcelain-bonded to metal crowns. You can now have amazingly natural looking crowns that only you and your dentist will know are there!

Missing Teeth

There are several ways in which we can replace a missing tooth or teeth and again the aim is to make this replacement natural-looking and comfortable to complement or enhance your smile. We can advise individual patients on the most appropriate way of replacing missing teeth ranging from implants to bridges and dentures.

“I am most fortunate to have met David 18 years ago as his patient. He is the most caring and skilful dentist I have had, so much so that I happily travel a 300 mile round trip to continue to see him for his excellent treatment and advice. His team are always warm and welcoming and always willing to help. The icing on the cake? No painful aftermath from injections on the way home!”
